EFE, 韓 시위대 박근혜 사퇴 요구 보도

스페인 통신사인 EFE통신이 지난 5월 17일에 있었던 시위 사진을 내보내며 시위대들이 박근혜의 사퇴를 요구하고 있다고 보도했다. 국정원 중국 공문서 조작사건때 사진 기사를 보도한 적이 있던 EFE통신의 한국 서울 도심에서 열렸던 5월 17일 세월호 참사관련 시위 사진 8장이 야후 뉴스를 통해 보도되었다.

EFE 통신은 시위대를 막고 있는 경찰들, 경찰버스에 억류되어 있는 시민, “박근혜 퇴진 교사 선언을 지지합니다”가 적힌 노란 현수막, 전경에 의해 화단쪽으로 몰린 시민, 6명의 여경에 의해 연행되는 한 여성의 사진 등 생생한 현장 사진을 보도하며 시위자들은 박근혜 대통령이 책임을 인정하고 사퇴할 것을 요구한다고 시위대의 목소리를 직설적으로 전했다.

EFE 통신 외에도 레볼루션 뉴스를 비롯하며 뉴욕타임스등 주요 외신들도 지난 주말 시위로 200명 이상이 연행되었다고 보도하는 등 관심이 집중되었는데도 불구하고 한국 주요 방송들은 시위 내용을 제대로 보도하지 않아 네티즌들의 비난이 쏟아지고 있다.
